Getting root rights to ZTE Blade AF3

If you want to get root rights, I recommend that you use the program Rootkhp for computer - this is one of the new programs with a large base of supported smartphones and tablets on Android. The program runs only under Windows; for Linux and Mac OS systems, it is recommended to use emulators.

You can download the program for free from the official website Rootkhp.pro, which is easily found via Google.

How to unlock a pattern key

Removing a forgotten pattern key, regardless of its complexity, has ceased to be a global problem even for an ordinary user who is little familiar with the security mechanisms of the Android operating system and its loopholes. Not long ago we came across a program for unlocking the graphic key Gaigunlock (Gaigunlosk). Step-by-step instructions in Russian and a description of how the program works are published at the link above.

Listing the features of the ZTE Blade A3 and ZTE Blade M smartphones, it is impossible not to mention the following characteristics:

  • A four-inch TFT screen with a palette of 16 million colors and touch controls, which, according to reviews from numerous smartphone users, does not work very well.
  • MP3 polyphony of calls. This means that you can set yourself a call of almost any sound quality.
  • Digital camera with flash and video recording capability.
  • Built-in audio player supporting all popular audio formats. You can not only connect headphones to it, but also use the player as a voice recorder.
  • A set of sensors consisting of a light sensor, a sensor for tracking objects moving nearby, and an accelerator.
  • Video processor MALI-400 MP.
  • USB, Bluetooth, and WiFi interfaces designed to retrieve data from connected media and the network.
  • Android operating system version 4.4.

Having such a complete set of options, this smartphone has another feature that makes it extremely popular among consumers - a low price. Not everyone needs to purchase expensive devices like the iPhone.

And not everyone has the available funds for this. Downloaded and installed fresh firmware makes it possible to further increase the efficiency of working with this device. We'll talk about how to flash ZTE below.

How to flash a smartphone correctly

A universal way to install firmware is to perform the following sequence of actions:

If a2sd is not included in the firmware, then you will need to format the flash drive to fat, with the formatting options set to: ext = 512, partition = sd, swap = 0.

If problems arise, try repeating the entire sequence of operations. Sometimes the firmware may fail.

Also, to save battery, I advise you to install Go Power Master, in which you can configure it to automatically turn off all wireless modules, for example, at night and switch to battery saving mode when the battery level is below the set one.

It also allows you to release memory with one button. It has a beautiful and concise widget.

In addition to it, you can install Go Task Manager and a particularly useful Autostarts application (here), which will help us get rid of unnecessary applications in startup and launch them on various events.

Another very useful application, I think for many, will be CallRecoder ($4.99, you don’t mind the money for it), which on this firmware allows you to record two-way conversations from a communication line.

P.S. Of course, nowhere can do without a fly in the ointment. With this firmware, Bluetooth does not always turn on the first time.
I hope you like it, but I haven’t watched it on Android.

It so happened that full-fledged firmware for a smartphone ZTE Blade AF3 did not have. It was available only in the form of updates from an SD card, which does not allow, in a critical case, to restore the phone to working condition from a brick state. Constant searches in this direction allowed us to first make some blocks for firmware in PAC format. Blocks - boot.img, wnvitem.bin, wmodem.bin, wdsp.bin, wcnnvitem.bin, wcnmodem.bin, u-boot-spl-16k.bin, u-boot.bin borrowed from updates from the SD card. Blocks - recovery.img And system.img made from a backup created through Terminal. Files fdl1.bin, fdl1.bin And SC7731_2341A borrowed from the firmware of a phone with similar characteristics. And this has already made it possible to restore the stuck Recovery phone number in the case described by me on the next page - .

November 29, 2015. A trial version of the firmware was assembled and the first process of flashing the phone went through ZTE Blade AF3 through the program ResearchDownload_R2.9.9005 made by firmware. It turned out to be successful. You can see how it happened in the following video:

And also, by the way, the applications were deodexed ZTE Blade AF3. A small demonstration video with the results obtained can be viewed below:

The first experiments turned out to be encouraging and I have already prepared a working version of the firmware in case the phone gets bricked.

Its features: deodexed, has a built-in Ruth ( Kinguser), replaced the standard launcher with MM Launcher, there are changes in user applications, but this is exactly where it turned out after turning on the phone, for some reason several applications did not want to be installed, although they are in the folder prelodapp this firmware ( Twitter, Facebook, UCBrowser and others). And I selected those that were established, taking into account my interests ( Terminal, HeadsUP, Lollipop_Lockscreen).

    Firmware process

Download and unpack the archive Blade_AF3_v1.0.1_DEODEX_m002.rar to a directory on your computer. There is firmware in PAC format - Blade_AF3_v1.0.1_DEODEX_m002.pac and program ResearchDownload_R2.9.9005.

Next you need to download, unpack and install the drivers on your computer . The application starts first DPInst.exe corresponding to the bitness of the desktop PC operating system. Then the program starts ResearchDownload and connect the switched off phone (first remove and insert the battery back) with the sound button held down - bottom edge. After a second or two, the phone should be detected by the computer and the necessary drivers will be installed.

The program will freeze a little while processing the file and after a short time, press the second button next to the first in the form of two small gears. A window will open where you need to go to the second tab - Options so that there is a check mark next to the item - Repartition.

Then press OK! And then press the button Play in the form of an arrow, press the sound button on the smartphone (bottom edge - the battery must first be removed and inserted back) and connect the phone to the computer. In a moment the firmware process will begin,

which lasts several minutes and ends with a message in the status bar - Passed if the process ends favorably, as in my case.

Next press the button - Stop in the form of a square and disconnect the phone from the cable, remove and insert the battery back and turn on the smartphone. The system will begin loading and will last about 5-10 minutes. Then the initial login and after these settings, this desktop opens.

And this is what my version (not final) of the desktop already looks like 5 minutes after the firmware was installed.

A warning for those who want to flash this firmware. This firmware may differ in memory layout from the standard stock firmware of the ZTE Blade AF3 and the consequences may be unpredictable. Everything you do is at your own peril and risk.. (NOTE- but if you wish, you can restore the factory version by updating from an SD card via Recovery)

Download this software(the firmware itself and the program ResearchDownload_R2.9.9005) you can click on the following link— (not fully deodexed, not enough free system memory, phone’s internal memory is 1.5 GB).
